Next Chalo Baatein Karen program coming up in December
Rcoz.us (Our Cause) was founded in 2021 by Roopali to normalize conversations around mental health struggles, inspired by her own lifelong challenges. Encouraged by her husband, she shared her vision with trusted friends and took a leap of faith.
Roopali Rajvanshy
Roopali grew up in a close-knit family in India where love and support were abundant, but the vocabulary for discussing mental health did not exist. As a child, and even as an adult, she often felt guilty about speaking up regarding her own struggles, especially when she saw a sibling who needed more help. “Log kya kahenge” (“What will people say?”) and the societal pressure made it difficult to seek the right help. The loneliness surrounding her own pain ignited a need to create a space where mental health could be openly discussed without fear or stigma.
“She is a fearless optimist, embracing new, unknown paths and tackling the next big challenge.”
With a successful career in marketing and web roles at Fortune 500 companies like Cisco, IBM, and VMware, and experience in startups, Roopali excels at achieving goals. Recently, she completed a leadership coaching program with the Centre for Excellence in Non-profits (CEN), demonstrating her commitment to Rcoz’s mission.
Her greatest challenge was mental health awareness. Knowing the isolation of silent suffering, she founded Rcoz (our cause), a non-profit dedicated to mental health awareness. Rcoz aims to create a platform for sharing stories and finding support.
Roopali’s journey transforms personal pain and professional expertise into a force for good. She is building a community where every voice is heard, every struggle acknowledged, and every story inspires hope.
