DESCRIPTION:About the program\n\n\n\n\nThe Rcoz High School Changemaker Pro
 gram is a 4-week immersive experience for South Asian high school students
  who want to understand mental health in a real\, grounded way while build
 ing leadership\, communication\, and creative skills. Students develop cri
 tical awareness around substance use and suicide prevention\, while explor
 ing career pathways in behavioral health.\n\nThrough expert-led sessions a
 nd hands-on projects\, students explore cultural pressures\, family dynami
 cs\, stigma\, and early help-seeking. They learn how to tell meaningful st
 ories\, build awareness campaigns\, and make mental health feel approachab
 le.\n\nParticipants engage directly with leading experts and other cultura
 lly informed mental health professionals.\n\nAs a Changemaker\, students w
 ill:\n\n 	Learn how mental health impacts families and communities from cu
 lturally informed experts\n 	Explore career pathways in behavioral health\
 n 	Create real content including blogs\, social media posts\, and awarenes
 s campaigns\n 	Build leadership\, marketing\, and communication skills\n 	
 Strengthen college applications while earning up to 40 volunteer hours\n\n
