0:00 [Music] 0:12 I am a mixed methods researcher so I 0:15 largely work on doing qualitative and 0:17 quantitative research at 0:22 ARA a platform that I can contribute 0:24 with my skills it should be a CA that 0:26 I'm really really passionate about and 0:29 mental health was something that I was 0:31 de that I am really passionate about so 0:34 when I sort of came across ARA um and I 0:36 was doing a little bit of research 0:38 before I applied for the role uh I was 0:40 really fascinated by the kind of work 0:41 that they were doing primarily because a 0:44 lot of mental health platform just sort 0:46 of gives you resources which is really 0:48 helpful but I felt like our cuse had a 0:51 much more personal approach uh because 0:54 here you have it's a community of people 0:56 sharing their stories so it not only 0:59 creates a safe space for people to share 1:01 their stories and listen to other people 1:03 and sort of identify themselves um it 1:07 also brings in a sense of community 1:08 right you just feel like oh my God I 1:10 went through this and it's it's not that 1:12 bad I was not the only 1:18 person we are a really big team with 1:21 people from different skill sets and 1:23 background sort of coming together and 1:26 volunteering uh only because that 1:28 they're passionate about the C and and 1:30 what the organization does so to work 1:31 with this community of like really 1:33 really talented people is um been really 1:36 amazing
