DB Bedford was inspiring, as he walked us through what that actually looks like. His story was raw. Time in the system, life going off track, and then the slow, hard rebuild. You hear it and immediately think about how many situations escalate simply because we don’t have the tools or language early enough.
We heard from Preet, Hume Center on culturally responsive care, and connected with folks across Probation Reentry, La Familia, Seneca, Telecare, Bay Area Community Health, Family Paths and more. Different roles, same intent: how do we reach people earlier.
